“Natural” is a starting point—not proof. We examine what is actually inside a formula, why it is there, and whether it helps the product perform the way it should.
BEYOND THE BUZZWORDS
Good marketing is not the same as a good formula.
Natural personal care has come a long way since Verefina began in 2008. But greenwashing can still make ordinary formulas look more thoughtful than they are. We read past the front label, question every claim, and choose ingredients based on substance—not trends, buzzwords, or beautiful packaging.
OUR FORMULATION STANDARD
Every ingredient must earn its place.
We prioritize time-tested plant oils, nourishing butters and waxes, mineral-based actives, and carefully selected aromatic ingredients. Every choice must serve a clear purpose—supporting comfort, stability, experience, or effectiveness.
We do not believe “clean” should mean weak, fussy, or disappointing. A Verefina formula has to meet our ingredient standards and perform beautifully. We refuse to choose between the two.
WHAT WE LEAVE OUT
Clear choices. No convenient omissions.
Our formulas are made without parabens, phthalates, triclosan, mineral oil, silicones, SLS or SLES, artificial colors, or synthetic fragrance.
Just as importantly, we tell you what is in each product and help you understand which formula best fits your skin, sensitivities, and routine. Trust should be earned through transparency.

Verefina products are handcrafted in small batches and never tested on animals. Staying close to the process allows us to protect the integrity of every formula and give each batch the care it deserves.
