Our formulas are made with thoughtfully chosen ingredients and are 99–100% naturally derived. Certain water-based products require a carefully selected preservative to remain fresh and safe throughout normal use. Every product page includes its complete ingredient list so you can make the choice that is right for you.

Most are. Our lip balms and Rescue Balm contain beeswax, and our Burn Cream contains lard. You can also browse our vegan collection.

No. Verefina is cruelty-free, and our products are never tested on animals.

Any formula containing water needs protection from unwanted microbial growth. We use polyaminopropyl biguanide where needed—a paraben-free, formaldehyde-free preservative chosen to keep the product stable during everyday use.

Properly stored and unopened, water-based products are best used within about one year and oil-based products within about two years. Once opened, keep products away from excess heat and moisture and use clean hands. A cleanser or moisturizer typically lasts 2–3 months with daily use; deodorants generally last 3–4 months.

Magnesium Deodorant is our regular-strength, lower-baking-soda stick and is a better starting point for sensitive skin or anyone who prefers magnesium. Average protection is 12+ hours. Moisturizing Deodorant Cream is our softer, extra-strength formula for customers who tolerate baking soda well and want maximum odor protection—often 24+ hours. See the full formula comparison.

Raise the stick about ¼ inch and apply 2–3 swipes directly to each underarm. Rub it in. Less is more, and rubbing it in helps distribute the formula evenly and reduce transfer to clothing.

Massage less than a pea-sized amount into each underarm with clean fingertips. Avoid freshly shaved or broken skin, and do not overapply.

Our deodorants are not antiperspirants, so they are not designed to stop perspiration. However, I personally—and many customers—have noticed less sweating while using the Magnesium Deodorant compared with the Moisturizing Deodorant Cream. We believe the magnesium may play a role, but individual experiences vary. Both formulas contain arrowroot powder to help absorb moisture while primarily focusing on odor protection.

Warm weather can soften this natural formula in transit. Stir it thoroughly with a clean spoon, then refrigerate it for a couple of hours. Its performance is not affected.

Lemon Coconut Cleanser is especially lovely for normal-to-dry skin and uses jojoba beads for gentle physical exfoliation. Fruit Enzyme Cleanser suits normal, oily, blemish-prone, or mature skin and uses fruit acids and willow bark for gentle chemical exfoliation. Many customers use Lemon Coconut in the morning and Fruit Enzyme in the evening.

No. It supports and moisturizes the skin barrier, but it is not a sunscreen and should not replace one. For sun protection, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen as directed.

They apply clear, leave a natural sheen, and are made to provide lasting moisture without a heavy, waxy feel. A tube typically lasts 1–3 months, depending on use.

Our lip balms contain beeswax, so they are not vegan. They do not contain SPF and should not replace a lip product labeled for sun protection.
